Notes

We are back to dancing on the first and third Fridays of each month from September to May
  • at our new venue!
    • Cordova Bay United Church on Claremont Avenue [See Map Below]

Lessons/Classes:
Dances:
  • Please bring your own water bottle
  • ​Admission: $7.50 per person
  • Masks are recommended but not required

Flooring and Footwear:
The hall has a linoleum over wood flooring. With the natural give of the floor it is the perfect surface for dancing and exercise classes.
  • To protect this floor we ask that people, if possible, change into indoor shoes before entering the main Hall area. If this is not possible then please check your shoe treads for rocks and to ensure they are clean.
  • Stilettos, high heels or tap shoes are discouraged to prevent damage to the flooring and other dancers' feet.

Membership

Mavericks Photography Policy

  • ​No flash photography!
  • All photographs and videos of people are by explicit agreement with a photographer:
    • If you would like your photo taken, either individually or in a group, talk to the photographer about having it taken in the designated area.
    • If a full square of dancers want action shots, pre-arrange to have them taken at the back of the hall so other dancers aren’t included by accident.​​​

The Cordova Bay United Church is located in the Municipality of Saanich — located North of the City of Victoria just a little off the Pat Bay Highway (Hwy 17).

To reach the hall from Victoria, head North on Highway 17.

Turn Right at Claremont Avenue and go Straight up the hill past the four-way stop at Del Monte Ave. The Cordova Bay United Church is the first driveway on the right past Del Monte Avenue.
